Structural Characteristics of Dental Resin Vertical Kneader
1. Vertical cylindrical vessel and cantilevered agitator blades
The mixing blades of dental resin vertical kneader feature an overhead suspension drive, eliminating the need for bearings or mechanical seals at the bottom of the vessel; this completely removes the risk of contamination—such as metal dust or filler leakage caused by seal wear—thereby ensuring the purity of medical-grade materials.
2. High-torque drive system
The viscosity of dental resins can increase significantly upon the addition of a high proportion of inorganic fillers; therefore, the equipment typically employs a drive system combining a gear reducer with a high-torque motor to ensure stable power delivery during the kneading process and prevent mixing difficulties under high-load conditions.
3. High-force blade kneading and high-precision clearance
The clearances between the blades, as well as between the blades and the inner wall or bottom of the vessel, are typically controlled within a very narrow range of 2 mm, generating intense shearing, squeezing, and stretching forces on high-viscosity resins and nano-scale inorganic fillers (such as silica and barium glass powder).
4. High-vacuum seal
Dental resin vertical kneader maintains a high vacuum level of -0.1 MPa. During the kneading process, air and volatile components trapped within the material are extracted, thereby reducing bubbles in the finished product and enhancing the material's density and stability.
5. Stainless steel contact parts
Components in direct contact with dental resin can be manufactured from 304 or 316L stainless steel according to customer specifications. The interior surfaces are polished to minimize material residue, facilitating equipment cleaning and maintenance.
