Vertical kneader: When your material has an extremely high solids content and lacks fluidity (e.g., dry-process solid-state battery electrolytes, propellant mixing, or high-viscosity dental resins), or when powerful de-agglomeration and kneading are required at extremely high viscosities.
Double planetary mixer: When your material is a flowable colloid or slurry (e.g., conventional liquid electrode slurries for lithium batteries, silicone sealants, or structural adhesives), and the primary objective is to uniformly disperse powders into a liquid matrix.
